Overview
Arabian Leopard team prepared for you a wonderful hiking experience in Dhofar Mountains. You will explore one of the largest sinkholes in the world and descend to a huge cave located in the steep walls of the sinkhole. During the descent, you will enjoy stunning views of the depth of the canyon and have many opportunities to take nice photos from formidable vantage points. Before reaching the sinkhole you will make stops in Darbat valley where you will be astonished by the green nature, cascades, huge waterfall, and also camel herds crossing the azure waters of Darbat river. Then you will proceed higher to the Jabal Qara mountains to reach the impressive, 211 meters deep Tawi Attair (Well of Birds) sinkhole. On the descent from Jebel Samhan mountains, you will explore an evergreen valley dotted with giant baobab trees which are absolutely unique on the Arabian Peninsula. You will do a short hike on a rocky path leading to the most impressive, centuries old baobab tree.
